| Abstract | The CSR is the new buzzword in the corporate circle. There are lot of efforts being made to make the corporate invest and make efforts in this direction. Many articles and papers have been written, there are still gaps to be explored. Lot of debate has already taken place throughout the world. The question that needs to be answered is, are these efforts for real? Or is it a liability imposed by government on corporate which they are bound to carry. The issues need to be answered in the main stream course to ascertain the real areas of efforts of the corporate as well as the government. The author wishes to emphasize all these points which need to be addressed on the regular basis so that these issues can be brought to the forefront. The paper is an attempt to bring these core issues to the forefront so that they may be sorted out at the earliest and the benefits be extended to the real population as soon as possible. |
