Abstract   Business schools produce MBAs who eventually end up in a workplace where they are faced with challenging and competitive work environment. It is at this point of time where they have to take the “right decision”. Thus it becomes imperative on part of B-Schools that they focus on education and ethics. This paper attempts to explore how ethics education can be imparted in an effective manner. The paper discusses the role of B-Schools in creating managers who can take up and execute ethical programmes. The approach towards taking an ethical decision and the value principles are also discussed in the paper. The main focus is to create awareness about the present market condition and how B-Schools should take this as an opportunity to make necessary changes in their curriculum in order to produce generation of leaders who can promote long term value for the company. Key Words: ethics education, B-Schools, ethical decision making Objective: 1. To create awareness about the unethical practices in the global market. 2. To discuss the role of B-Schools in ethical training. 3. To develop an approach towards ethics education. 4. To provide frameworks for ethical decision making. Methodology: The paper is based on the review of literature on various articles on the recent corporate scandals. Articles relating to the curricula of business schools have also been studied. The literature on the importance and teaching of ethics in B-Schools has been reviewed.
