Observance of International Human Solidarity Day (20 December 2022)

On the occasion of International Human Solidarity Day being globally observed on 20th December, our MBA students in association with SOCH, an Aligarh based NGO had taken initiative to observe it by distributing woollen clothes (old & new) to poor people as a gesture of solidarity with them in this winter season. For this, they with SOCH volunteers collected donations in the form of cash as well as woollen clothes from teaching & non-teaching staff members of sister institutions of Al-Barkaat and also from their neighbours & relatives. From cash collection the woollen clothes were purchased and all the items collected and purchased were distributed in slum areas near Rathgaon Road in Aligarh. On this occasion before going for distribution, the President of SOCH, Dr. Saleem M. Khan was present in the campus and addressed the students appreciating their sincere efforts in collecting a good amt. of cash and clothes. He was welcomed and felicitated by Director, ABIMS.

The poor beneficiaries were very happy from this act of our students and volunteers, they were appreciated and blessed by them.
