Abstract   The automobile sector is a significant contributor in national economy of any country and it is also an indicator of the living standard of the people of a country. Being a developing country, there are a number of domestic and foreign automobile companies working in India. Maruti Suzuki is one of the leading companies of automobile sector, accounting for about 50 per cent of the total sales of the industry in 2012. The market share of Maruti Suzuki India Limited in passenger car segment in Domestic Market is about 37 per cent in 2014. The company has introduced a variety of brands of passenger cars to cater the needs of all segments of market. The company has received many awards and achievements through continuous innovations and technical know-how. The present study is an attempt to evaluate the financial performance of Maruti Suzuki India Limited which is one of the largest automobile sector companies in India. The financial performance has been evaluated by exploring the impact of Domestic and International Sales on Net Worth, Profit After Tax and Earning Per Share of MSIL.
